Ep. VI | Managing Overload & Productivity

Busy seems to come with every work territory in this day and age. There are times when things can become so much it produces overload and different people handle that differently. Andy has worked in some extremely productive lab settings where there are constantly multiple research projects and associated writing occurring. Joel oversees two departments that help the athletic department achieve its goals. 

In this episode, we talk about what we do to manage when things might get overwhelming and things we would do differently if we might go back and be in the same situation. Hopefully some ideas out of this one could help people out as they work through their own journey’s.

Ep. V | Differing Opinions

The more you get into a field and develop your thoughts and ideas on how things might be, the more you are likely to encounter almost endless differing opinions. How you handle and work with those differing opinions can impact how you react, work and ultimately interact with other professionals.

Ep. IV | Learning

Everyone learns in different ways and it amazes us how smart some people really are. We both have had the opportunity to work with people that immediately humble you because they are just that good at what they do and that smart. In this episode of BnB Joel asks Andy how he goes about learning because Andy is becoming one one of those people that once you get them going will fascinate you with how much he knows across a wide range of topics. Ep. III | Future Ideas, Ideas, and Paths

 Well it's been awhile since we've gotten together and had a conversation so we weren't entirely sure where this one would go. That being said we think we found a way to shift the podcast (yes after only 3 episodes) to talking about what we're doing and then having the conversation start off of that particular topic.

In this episode we talk about what we are currently working on and where we see that going. We're hoping this sparks ideas, collaborations and future movement from anyone that wants to get involved. As always we review our current bourbons we are enjoying.
